HLGYNN was born from a deep love for Hiligaynon heritage. The name itself is a tribute to the melodic language spoken by the Ilonggo people of Western Visayas — a tongue known for its gentle cadence and warm hospitality. From the intricate weaves inspired by patadyong textiles to the flowing silhouettes reminiscent of the region's coastal breezes, HLGYNN bridges the gap between ancestral craftsmanship and contemporary streetwear. We source materials locally, collaborate with artisan communities in Panay and Negros, and ensure that every piece honours the hands that shaped it. The Hiligaynon Spirit

Hiligaynon is spoken by over 9 million people across Western Visayas and beyond. It is the language of the Dinagyang Festival, the La Paz batchoy, the piaya — and now, the language of a fashion movement. Our designs incorporate traditional Visayan patterns: the solihiya weave, the hablon textile structure, and the geometric forms found in pre-colonial tattoo art.
